Family Law Attorney
Shannon Resnick takes an informed, personal approach to family law: Having experienced firsthand the emotional toll that legal proceedings can take on families, she guides clients with a keen focus on their needs. She is passionate about resolving family conflicts in ways that are constructive.
Shannon graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in May 2014. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in November 2014.
While in law school, she served as an intern at the Massachusetts Appeals Court with Justice Elspeth Cypher. She also served as managing editor of the UMass Law Review and a member of the Jessup Moot Court team. In addition, Shannon interned with South Coastal Counties Legal Services in Fall River and represented clients in family law and landlord/tenant matters. She published “Squatting – Lifting the Heavy Burden to Evict Unwanted Company,” in the UMass Law Review (9 U. Mass L. Rev. 156 (2014)). She graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
Shannon is not one to let common obstacles get in the way of what she seeks to accomplish: A mediocre-at-best cheerleader for Pop Warner, she instead donned a helmet and shoulder pads and played football. She became a star defensive end. The irony? She now coaches her stepdaughter in Pop Warner cheerleading.
